An artisanal workshop is presented so that the visitors can discover the base techniques of basketry and to see the qualities that are required for such old activity. By following the instructor’s lessons, you will be able to create a miniature basket made of marrow of rattan… That you can take with you!

Exhibition. La Llum Negra
La llum negra – Ghat Apartments
In the middle of the 20th century, many artists (surrealists principally) have been interested by unnatural, to magic, to all that goes beyond reason and science. For the majority of them, art was a way to explore this “dark side”. The Llum Negra exhibition (black light in English) puts an emphasis on the link between the artists and this “secret” thematic with pictures, paintings, sculptures, books, movies, etc. Open your mind!

During a week-end of May, in the garden of Cervante’s Parc, takes place the International Contest of New Roses. The visual show is beautiful, with an infinity of sorts of roses which adds a colored touch to the green of the vegetation in the garden.

World Press Photo – Ghat Apartments
The 14th edition of the International Exhibition World Press Photo offers the possibility to visitors to discover the 134 pictures chosen among the 73 044 taken by 4 548 photographers over 125 countries. After China, the United-States and Italia, Spain was chosen to show this outstanding pictures. Barcelona is one of the first cities in the world to present the winning photographs of this prestigious award of photojournalism, she is also one of the only cities in the world to show these pictures. Some poignant pictures that you shouldn’t miss!
